What can be said about family? Well, they're the ones who are bound to you,
whether either of you want it or not. They can not deny their connection to you,
so they are the ones you can always turn to, even when all the rest of the world is gone.
They are the ones who are honest with you, because you don't need to lie to impress the people
your bound to. They're the ones who always love you, even if they don't always like you.
Defined in such a way, family doesn't need to be limited to legal or genetic boundtries.
Instead, I define my family based on my heart.

Ray Reskusich I met Ray in October of 1997, and he agreed to marry me on January 8, 2003. It didn't take too much convincing, but the ring helped to let him know I was serious this time. Ray is probably the most level-headed and intelligent person I know, and yet he has a wonderful charm and sense of humor about him that keep him from being stuffy and stand-offish like so many of the other geniuses. He has a galaxy of cool and unusual interests, a traditional yet charming family, an eerily similar set of values and sense of humor to my own, and my heart (and my pancreas, last time I checked). |

Riley White Riley is one of the coolest creatures in the world. He was born on (approx) November 22, 1995, and has been with my family since March 1996. What they say about a dog being a person's best friend could easily be true of Riley. He is infinitely friendly and loyal, and happy to see me every single day. It's hard not to love a buddy like that. |

Captain Morgan Reskusich Morgan is the newest member of our family. He was born approximately on May 15, 2004, making him a Taurus like Ray (and his car). He has been with our family since July 2004. |
